


Megawide, in collaboration with Citicore Renewables and other local organizations, recently donated two refrigerated drinking water fountains to the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) through the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) Regulatory Office last March 6.
The turnover highlighted Megawide’s continuous efforts to support public sector initiatives that enhance community welfare.
The event was led by Megawide Chief Business Development Officer Jaime Feliciano; AFAB Deputy Administrator for Support Services Ma. Lourdes Herrera; AFAB Administrator and CEO Hussein Pangandaman; MWSS Chief Regulator Patrick Ty; MWSS Deputy Administrator Lee Britanico; and UP Batch 1999 Representative Kristoffer Antonio.
Feliciano expressed gratitude to AFAB and MWSS Regulatory Office for the opportunity to support to this cause, emphasizing the importance of public-private partnerships in creating long-term, sustainable impact.

From building 10,000 classrooms for the DepEd’s Public School Infrastructure Project to developing key infrastructure projects such as the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange and Mactan-Cebu International Airport, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that uplift communities and contribute to a First-World Philippines,” he shared.
The donation also aligns with MWSS’ 27th-anniversary celebration, which focuses on the importance of water conservation and climate change mitigation. By providing access to clean, drinking water, Megawide and its partners help enhance public health and environmental sustainability.
