Livelihood

The Foundation encourages entrepreneurship for people to find innovative means of generating their own livelihood in a responsible and sustainable manner. Starting with enabling housewives with skills in basic sewing, and organic farming, the Foundation has helped set up families around its project sites in ensuring a steady source of income.

A flagship project is the Engineering Excellence Tech-Voc Training Center, aimed at training workers and laborers both on and off-site. While another is intended for juvenile delinquents and out-of-school youth who will be provided with equipment and tools for a training program focusing on basic carpentry and construction work, and eventually, gain skills necessary for gainful employment.

Safety and Environment

The Foundation believes in the health and well-being of its stakeholders and the environment. It continues to support climate change mitigation efforts that include promoting renewable energy sources. The Foundation encourages the propagation and planting of indigenous trees and mangroves through the Building Green program and has conducted tree-planting activities in schools and public places. The Foundation has also adopted a 5-hectare portion of the Marikina Watershed site where employee volunteers commit to plant and grow more than 3000 trees over a three-year period.

On safety and well-being, the Foundation continues to participate actively in disaster and relief operations, and in emergency preparedness. We also conduct periodic medical missions and feeding programs in the communities where we operate.
