Megawide Corporate Foundation, Inc. (referred herein as Megawide Foundation) is the corporate foundation of Megawide Construction Corporation (Megawide), a leading Filipino infrastructure and engineering company that has established a strong reputation as one of the Philippines’ preferred contractors for residential, commercial, hotel, and mixed-use projects as well as infrastructure development. Megawide Foundation was established in 2012 to provide opportunities to the marginalized and disadvantaged communities where Megawide operates and areas where the company’s resources and expertise are needed.
Our programs are aligned with and support the United Nations’ (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Quality Education (SDG 4), Decent Work & Economic Growth (SDG 8), Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), and Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12).

To be the innovator in providing underserved Filipino communities with access to first-world solutions.

We engineer a better future for underprivileged Filipinos by providing access to high-quality technical education and eco-friendly community building.

We underpin our projects with integrity.

We pour our heart and soul into uplifting the Filipino.

We build partnerships beyond our own four walls.

We deliver help and hope to those in need.

In order to transform the youth and inspire society, the Foundation commits itself to providing access to education to underprivileged but deserving college students studying in Megawide partner institutions through the Megawide Engineering Excellence Scholarship (MEES) Program. It aims to provide technical and financial support since the year 2015.

The Foundation encourages entrepreneurship for people to find innovative means of generating their own livelihood in a responsible and sustainable manner. Starting with enabling housewives with skills in basic sewing, and organic farming, the Foundation has helped set up families around its project sites in ensuring a steady source of income.

A flagship project is the Engineering Excellence Tech-Voc Training Center, aimed at training workers and laborers both on and off-site. While another is intended for juvenile delinquents and out-of-school youth who will be provided with equipment and tools for a training program focusing on basic carpentry and construction work, and eventually, gain skills necessary for gainful employment.

Safety and Environment

The Foundation believes in the health and well-being of its stakeholders and the environment. It continues to support climate change mitigation efforts that include promoting renewable energy sources. The Foundation encourages the propagation and planting of indigenous trees and mangroves through the Building Green program and has conducted tree-planting activities in schools and public places. The Foundation has also adopted a 5-hectare portion of the Marikina Watershed site where employee volunteers commit to plant and grow more than 3000 trees over a three-year period.

On safety and well-being, the Foundation continues to participate actively in disaster and relief operations, and in emergency preparedness. We also conduct periodic medical missions and feeding programs in the communities where we operate.
